Morinville Hotels

Artist(s):

This tableau depicts both past and present hotels of Morinville, which were significant landmarks and served vital roles in community life. The Alberta Hotel was built in 1903 and demolished in 1972 to make way for the Frontiersman Hotel, which was then renovated in 2009 to become Morinville Plaza and Suites. The Morinville Hotel was built in 1898 and no longer exists. The Victoria Hotel was built prior to 1910 and changed owners multiple times over the years. It eventually changed its name to Morinville Hotel.
