Bishop Emile Legal was the first Bishop of the Diocese of Edmonton. Active and well-liked by members of the Cree and Blackfeet Nations, he lived in tents and travelled with wagons like they did. He had a passion for architecture, yet was pastoral by nature, not liking the fanfare of his hierarchal position. This mural was sponsored by the Legal Knights of Columbus shown on the bottom right hand corner. This mural has since been retired.
