En haut du monument se situe une roche sous laquelle il y a deux dates : 1775-1777 et 1812-1814. Ces deux guerres se sont soldées par des victoires grâce à un effort coopératif des soldats britanniques (en rouge), des canadiens-français (en bleu) et des Premières Nations (sur la feuille d’érable).

Above the map of Canada, we see a rock with two dates underneath it: 1775-1777 and 1812-1814. These dates refer to two wars which highlight the cooperative effort of the British (soldier in red), French-Canadians (man in blue), and the First Nations (on the Maple Leaf).
